X Y and Z

Dear Weather Dude,
My eighth grade class enjoyed your web site. Some students finished the poem and we would like to share the results with you.

X is for how x-cited you get when you can play in the rain.
Y is for "Y" is it raining?
Z is for the Buzz-zz-zz when lightning strikes.

X is for x-rays that the sun emits.
Y is for yellow flowers in the spring.
Z is for the zigzag that lightning makes.

April Dorsey

X is for x-rays which you will need after being struck by lightning.
Y is for young kids who are scared of storms.
Z is for Zap - the sound that follows lightning.

Thank you for a fun way to spend our Science class period.

Thank you, Robbie, April and Kevin!

Dear Weather Dude,

We are the sixth grade at St. Aloysius school in Springfield, IL. We listened to your tape and thought of phrases for x, y, and z:

X is for the x-amples of weather in the world today,
Y is for how loud you yell when the lightning strikes on a stormy day,
Z is when you zoom under your covers to stay
When bad weather comes your way!! YEAH!!

We had FUN listening to your music! Thanks!!

Thank you St. Aloysius!
Nick
